Tinn

Tinn (‘Treat Infections in Neonates”) is a European research network (Collaborative Project) co-coordinated by the French Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm, Prof. Evelyne Jacqz-Aigrain, Paris - FRANCE) and the University of Nottingham (Prof. Imti Choonara) and supported by the European Commission under the Health Cooperation Work Programme of the 7th Framework Programme.

Tinn aims to provide the critical mass necessary to generate enough detailed    information relating to the safety and utility of Ciprofloxacin and Fluconazole in the newborn required to apply for a PUMA. Increasing the appropriate use of medicines in children will be of direct benefit to children, their families and health professionals.
